A few practical questions we are asked regularly by customers
It depends on the subfloor. Laminate with a suitable underlay can be more forgiving where the existing slab is not perfectly flat, while rigid hybrid flooring can require more preparation.
Not always. Carpet plus underlay can be significantly thicker than a floating floor. Product thickness and transition details can be adjusted, but an exact match is not always practical.
Installation time depends on the size of the property, the type of flooring selected and the amount of preparation required. Most standard residential flooring installations can be completed within one day. Projects involving stairs, plywood build-up, floor levelling or more extensive subfloor preparation may require additional time.
Some apartment buildings require strata approval and acoustic documentation before hard flooring can be installed. Requirements vary between buildings.
